[52N SWE] SOS and GetLatestObservation

Francesco D'Amore
Hi All..

I try to get latest observatino with this request:

  <offering>air_temperature</offering>

  <eventTime>
    <ogc:TM_Equals>
      <ogc:PropertyName>om:samplingTime</ogc:PropertyName>
      <gml:TimeInstant>
        <gml:timePosition>latest</gml:timePosition>
      </gml:TimeInstant>
    </ogc:TM_Equals>
  </eventTime>

  <observedProperty>urn:ogc:def:phenomenon:OGC:1.0.30:air_temp</observedProperty>
  <responseFormat>text/xml;subtype="om/1.0.0"</responseFormat>

</GetObservation>

And i receive this response:

<ows:ExceptionReport version="1.0.0"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://schemas.opengis.net/ows/1.1.0/owsExceptionReport.xsd">
<ows:Exception exceptionCode="InvalidParameterValue" locator="srsName">
<ows:ExceptionText>
The epsgCode '4326' for parameter srsName'is not supported by the SOS
</ows:ExceptionText>
</ows:Exception>
</ows:ExceptionReport>

Any suggestion???? There is some think that can I do in order to set a
different srsName???

Thank you....

Re: [52N SWE] SOS and GetLatestObservation

Carsten Hollmann-3
Hi Francesco,

the parameter 'srsName' is part of the first <Observation> tag
(namespaces, version, service). In the most examples the parameter is
set to 'srsName="urn:ogc:def:crs:EPSG:4326"' but the parameter is not
mandatory.
So you can delete the parameter, then the default srsName is used (the
EPSG code of the feature of interest geometry).
Or you can change the parameter to a supported one.

Regards,
Carsten
