Error installing helgoland client

danji_ma90
Hello,
I have trouble installing the helgoland client on our Linux server with centos7. When trying the master branch version the client was unable to find the angular.js (when building the .war npm install won't include angular module). When trying the developer version, npm install throws this:

bower n52-sensorweb-client-core#feature/forceAutonomy     ENORESTARGET Tag/branch feature/forceAutonomy does not exist

Additional error details:
Available tags: 1.0.0, v1.0.0-beta, v2.0.0
Available branches: develop, master
npm ERR! weird error 1
npm ERR! not ok code 0

The bower file configuration uses a non-existing branch from 52north Git

Maybe someone could look into this?

Hello,

sorry, there were some inconsistencies in the repository. I prepared the
helgoland client for a release. But now everything should be fine again.
So please pull the current master branch once again.

Best regards,
Jan

Hello,
we tried installing Helgoland again, regrettably without success. We opened this GitHub issue:

https://github.com/52North/helgoland/issues/17

Here you will find the necessary information concerning our problem.

We hope you can help us,

Hi Jan,
I left a comment in the issue on GitHub:

https://github.com/52North/helgoland/issues/17

Please could you further look into the issue. We have now tried various approaches and helgoland still seems impossible to deploy properly.

Thanks,

Daniel

Re: Error installing helgoland client

Hi Jan,
Thank you for your feedback on git, we finally managed to deploy helgoland master version using one of the commands in the link you sent:
**sudo yum install cairo cairo-devel cairomm-devel libjpeg-turbo-devel pango pango-devel pangomm pangomm-devel giflib-devel**
Previously, while trying to solve all the errors we actually installed cairo and pango before, but we were still missing giflib-devel, so apparently this was the problem. Yet all these packages are essential for the deployment and don't seem to install automatically with node.js. Maybe you could add this in the git documentation.
Thank you again, kind regards

Daniel
