GetObservation/GetDataAvailability with no filters not returning result/time ranges

TSlawecki
I have now successfully set up my sensor network (105 stations with a total of 253 sensors) and loaded the associated time series data. 52N is configured to use the SOS 2.0 Hydrology Profile.

When I do a GetDataAvailability with no filters, some of the dataAvailabilityMember elements do not include a TimePeriod. However, the TimePeriod is shown if I include the procedure name as a filter.

Similarly, when I do a GetObservation with no filters, the observationData elements' results do not include a MeasurementTVP - except for the last of the procedures. The measurement (a time/value pair) does appear if I include the procedure urn.

Is this perhaps an artifact of how I loaded the data? A bug? Thoughts appreciated! I can provide examples and a discussion of the InsertResult workflow if that might be relevant.

Tad

If there are dataAvailabilityMember with the same TimePeriod, TimePeriod
is only encoded in one dataAvailabilityMember and in the others you can
fin a reference to with the gml:id of the encoded one.

We need to check this and we will inform you then.

Carsten

== Thank you, yes ... now I recognize the references in the form <gda:phenomenonTime xlink:href="#tp_3"/>

We need to check this and we will inform you then.

== Is there anything I can provide to help you with your checking?

Thanks, but we will check this first with the example data.
We would get back to you if something might be helpful that you can provide.

Best,
Carsten

Hi Tad,

in the Miscellaneous settings you find the checkbox 'Should the SOS
return overall extrema?'. If you uncheck this and save the changes, the
SOS returns the latest observation for each series (combination or
procedure, observedProperty and featureOfInterest).

Is this setting enabled, the SOS returns only the overall latest value
and in the case of the activated Hydrology Profile, the metadata of all
others (as defined in the profile).

Best,
Carsten
