How to publish data from SOS to SES

Leandro Lombardo
Hi everybody,
I have a working SOS installation and a working SES installation, I need to publish SOS data to SES "on-the-fly". Is there a way to do it without using SOS-SES feeder?
This morning I read something about SOS-SES feeder and and it is not clear for me how it works and for this reason I'm looking for something stable and easy to use.
Do you have an idea how I can do it?

Thanks in advance.

HI Leandro,

the SES is rather passive here. It performs rule matching on an input
stream (and writes notifications to an output in case of a match) and
does not bother where the stream comes from.

That's why there is the SOS-SES-Feeder which generates that kind of
input stream. In short: currently, this is the way a SES is integrated
into a sensor web architecture.

However, at the moment we are also working on an approach how the
eventing functionality could be put closer to the data store (e.g.
SOS) so that a separate feeder would not be necessary anymore. We will
keep you updated about this, on this mailing list.

Best
