JSON data for MergeObservationsIntoDataArray ?

Derek Hohls
Hi

According to https://wiki.52north.org/SensorWeb/SensorObservationServiceIVDocumentation#Request_Extensions , the MergeObservationsIntoDataArray extension forces the SOS to merge all observations resulting from a GetObservation call, and this request extension can be used via the POX, SOAP, and KVP binding.

Are there currently any plans to create a JSON binding as well, as this would be extremely helpful to those needing to consume data in a web client (almost all other data that is needed can be extracted as JSON).

Thanks
Derek

Re: JSON data for MergeObservationsIntoDataArray ?

Hi Derek,

currently there are no plans or requirements in any projects to
implement the support for the MergeObservationsIntoDataArray extension
for the JSON binding.

But you can create a GitHub issue for this enhancement and maybe someone
has the same requirement or we get this requirement from a project to
implement it. Another option is to implement the support yourself and
contribute the enhancement to the SOS.

Best,
Carsten
