WNS errors for DoNotification

Chenfeng
I have Installed the WNS successful, and the functions of GetCapabilities, Register, Unregister can be worked well. However, after I have registerd a User, then I do the DoNotification operation, it has error, and I cannot recived anything from my Email.

WNS the version is 2.1.2
Tomcat is 8.5.16
system is Window7.

This is the XML file of my DoNotification:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<DoNotification xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/wns/0.0"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.opengis.net/wns/0.0 ../wns.xsd"
    service="WNS" version="1.0.0">

    </NotificationMessage>
  </Message>
</DoNotification>

Re: WNS errors for DoNotification

Henning Bredel-5
hi,

I think this relates to a wrong configuration. If you want to send via TLS, you
have to configure a different port.

  https://support.google.com/a/answer/176600?hl=en

Try port 587. Hope this helps

Best

I guess maybe i missed some steps in Gmail setting, I donnot know is this problem?
I use the email address "chenfeng.liu1990@gmail.com" as sender.
and on WNS i use another email address to register and got a User Id, this Email is  "user1990@gmail.com". so do i need to do some staffs in Gmail to conncet this two emails? or the problem is not this.

Re: WNS errors for DoNotification

Hi,

could you check if you are able to connect at all via

  telnet smtp.gmail.com 587

[type 'quit' when connection was successful]

A firewall may block your connection on port 587. (you would have to try other
connection options)

Best

  Henning

Re: WNS errors for DoNotification

Chenfeng
Hey, Henning,

After I connected the SES and WNS via the SES-WNS-translator successful. I have a test and do notify at SES side. I send a notification to SES endpoint, I can received the notification successful at the costumer endpoint via a "SimpleWSNConsumer" tool.
Then I subscribe_all again and I changed the costumer reference to the SES-WNS-Translator service url, which is "http://localhost:8080/52n-notification-translator-1.1.2/translate", both the subscribe and the connection are successful. But when I do notify operate at SES side, I get some errors at WNS side.

My WNS version is 2.1.2
SES is 1.2.2
SES-WNS-translator version is 1.1.2

This is the notification i did on SES side:
