Where to specify xlink:title for ObservableProperty

TSlawecki
Our 52N SOS is  now configured with the Hydrology profile so it emits wml2 by default. The consumer would like to have an xlink:title value for the observable property, as in this (Kisters) example from a GetObservation request:

  <om:observedProperty xlink:title="EColi" xlink:href="http://kc-geos-wq01.kc.umkc.edu:8080/parameters/EColi"/>

I am unclear on where (and how) to assign this title -- it seems like I could add xlink:title to the sml:output in the sensor description -

    <sml:output xlink:title="Dissolved Oxygen" name="Dissolved Oxygen">
                                <swe:Quantity definition="urn:epaiwpp:observable:do3">
                                    <swe:uom code="mg/L"/>
                                </swe:Quantity>
                            </sml:output>

or to the om:observedproperty in my resulttemplate:

 <om:observedProperty xlink:title="Dissolved Oxygen" xlink:href="urn:epaiwpp:observable:do3"/>

Is either of these correct or preferred?

Thanks,

Tad

Re: Where to specify xlink:title for ObservableProperty

Carsten Hollmann
Hi Tad,

to provide an xlink:title in the om:observedProperty you have to adapt
it currently in the database (observableproperty.name column).

In future releases (from version 4.4.x) the 52N would be able to insert
the observedProperty name if it is defined as swe:label or from the
sml:output name attribute.

Best,
Carsten
